Launching a new beauty product is about more than introducing something new to consumers. A well-designed event gives guests the opportunity to experience the product, the brand, and the creative vision behind it in an engaging environment.
For the Los Angeles launch experience surrounding Drunk Elephant’s Kamo Triple-Peptide™ Cover Drops, Lumina Event Lighting provided the audio, lighting, and technical production support needed to bring the event environment together.
Supporting a New Chapter in Clinical Color
Kamo Triple-Peptide™ Cover Drops is the latest addition to Drunk Elephant’s Clinical Color collection. The multi-use complexion product is designed to function as a foundation, concealer, or tint, combining skincare-inspired ingredients with buildable complexion coverage.
To celebrate the launch, Drunk Elephant introduced its Clinical Color Collective, bringing together four makeup artists with different creative perspectives to showcase the versatility of the new product.

Building the Event’s Audio Experience
Clear, reliable audio is essential for events that include presentations, demonstrations, and live programming.
For the Drunk Elephant experience, Lumina provided a complete professional audio package, including a Yamaha DM3 audio console, L-Acoustics speakers and subwoofers, wireless handheld microphones, a wireless headworn microphone system, and playback equipment.
The audio system was designed to support both the event program and the needs of the production team throughout the experience, helping ensure that presentations and demonstrations could be heard clearly by guests.
Lumina also provided an audio engineer on-site to support the event and manage the technical needs of the audio system.
Creating the Right Lighting Atmosphere
Lighting plays an important role in beauty events, where the environment and visual presentation are closely connected to the guest experience.
Lumina provided a combination of moving lights, LED wash fixtures, battery-powered uplights, and pin spots to illuminate the event space. The setup included eight moving-head wash lights, twelve wireless battery uplights, and eight rechargeable pin spots.
Using a combination of overhead and portable lighting allowed the production team to create a layered environment while maintaining flexibility throughout the event.
A professional lighting console and supporting control equipment gave the lighting team the ability to manage the system throughout the experience and adjust the atmosphere as needed.
On-Site Technical Production
Behind a polished event is a production team making sure every technical element is ready before guests arrive.
Lumina provided an on-site event technician and lighting technician to support the setup and operation of the event. From preparing equipment and lighting systems to supporting the event throughout the day, the production team helped keep the technical side of the experience running smoothly.
This behind-the-scenes work is what allows guests to focus on the experience itself—without having to think about everything happening behind the scenes to make it possible.
Bringing Beauty and Production Together
The Drunk Elephant Kamo Triple-Peptide™ Cover Drops event was an example of how thoughtful technical production can support a highly visual brand experience.
With professional audio, layered event lighting, and dedicated technical support, Lumina helped create an environment where Drunk Elephant’s new product and creative programming could take center stage.
For brand launches, masterclasses, and experiential events, the right production partner can help turn a concept into an experience that feels polished from the moment guests arrive.
